Outputs included a new market management regime, occupational agreements, rental structures, waste management regime, shoppers’ charter and a five-year financial plan.

Ancient Market Place and Market House redevelopment

In association with Tonkin Liu Architects, Quarterbridge was appointed by Royal Borough of Kingston to assist in the specialist design for the Ancient Market Place and Market House redevelopment which included the design of bespoke, high quality and innovative market stalls positioned carefully within the demise to promote excellent shopper flow whilst maintaining vehicular access for market and shop deliveries, waste management trucks and emergency access.

Quarterbridge also organised consultation with existing market traders who occupied space under charter with prescriptive covenants. Quarterbridge also engineered a letting programme to attract new traders following a carefully conceived tenant mix.
