Quarterbridge acted as specialist development management consultants to Town and Country Markets (Luton) Ltd. with their acquisition of the 80,000 sq. ft. Luton Indoor Market and Outdoor Market extension.
A £2.5 million refurbishment project
Quarterbridge’s involvement at Luton Market included design and specification of a £2.5million refurbishment project, business plan, negotiations with Luton Borough Council on behalf of the client, landlord and tenant legal negotiations, operational and asset management issues and market unit lettings.
The entire phased programme lasted 14 months
The first of the 6-phase refurbishment project commenced in April 2005 and the entire phased programme lasted 14 months, which included the removal of asbestos whilst ensuring continuity of trade for existing valued tenants.
